These models are dedicated to the designer of Supercar, Reg Hill, whose creativity continues to give enjoyment to so many of us. Reg Hill died in October 1999.

The models and images are provided for your enjoyment, but should not be used for any commercial purpose. The models are provided as is and with no warranty of any kind (of course). Please let the individual creators know of any problems with using them though.

You are encouraged to submit images for display in this gallery. Colour JPEG format images of 4:3 ratio (size 800 x 600 pixels or 640 x 480 pixels) or 16:9 ratio (800 x 480 pixels or 640 x 360 pixels) are preferred. Send the image as an attachment to an e-mail message to Austin Tate. Also send your full name and information about the 3D package or renderer you used to allow proper credits to be given. A JPEG format thumbnail of width 160 pixels (160 x 120 for 4:3 ratio images or 160 x 96 pixels for 16:9 ratio images) will be used to point to the larger image, so if you wish to render such an image separately for higher quality send that along too.

Modelling Systems

The original models were created in Cinema 4D from Maxon Computer. A free downloadable preview copy (save disabled, and rendering watermarked, but otherwise fully functional) of Cinema 4D XL, SE or GO is available for Apple Macintosh, PC and other platforms. This could provide a way to view and use the models if you do not yet have a 3-D CAD or animation package.

The models will be available in a variety of formats so that they can be loaded into your favourite 3-D CAD or animation package. It may be necessary to reapply textures in some packages or with some formats.
